Terry Cano - Biography

Terry Cano, sometimes referred to as "Bear," is the musician's musician. He is a much sought after accompanist, arranger, composer and producer.

His career started at the age of 10, with live appearances on the TV series, "The Deep South Jamboree" and later he appeared on the "Ted Mac Amateur Hour" with a rock band called "The Cougars."

In the early '70's he was a member of the renowned vocal group"Jimmy Sacca and the Hilltoppers." By the late '70s he was composing and producing for "Southern Sight and Sound,” writing numerous commercials for the Florida, Alabama and Georgia radio and TV market.

The '80's found "Bear" wandering into new woods in southern California where he has contributed music to cartoons as well as working as musical director for various artists. Recently he scored the short film, "How to Stand in Line for Star Wars."

Currently Terry is producing his own originals at Bird and Bear Studios.
